Frequently Asked Questions

What primary services do you offer?

I offer non-commissioned art and creative photos printed on multiple surfaces, goods, and accessories via a shop online at Redbubble.
I also take commissions to create paintings or creative photos in a style and on a surface specified by you.

What do you specialize in?

I specialize in commissions to create art that features beloved people, pets, and places. Most commissions I receive request a realistic oil painting on canvas, but some do ask for abstract landscapes printed on metal or watercolor impressions of pets on coffee cups.

What are the rates of your services?

Non-commission art prints are determined by Redbubble’s manufacturing costs as noted in the shop.
Commission works are provided at the cost of materials plus shipping and 20% for my labor…for example, if you want an oil painting on a 10×10 inch canvas shipped to you in the US that would likely cost $200 in 2022 dollars.

What type of guarantee do you provide on commisioned work?

I send you a high-resolution photo proof of the art as I work to verify I’m achieving the look you want. You have final approval of the work before you pay for it and I ship it to you. You also receive a digital copy of the work so that you can print it again on any surface you like in the future at no extra cost to create (you just have to pay for the printing).

What kind of collaborations will you do?

I’m very open minded. We can paint or design a project together, or I can create an illustration of some creative work you have already done.

Do you donate art?

Yes! If you have a good cause in mind, just contact me and give me some details. I donate both printed works and commissions to charities and non-profits for decoration and fundraisers.

How are you qualified?

I’m an employed author, artist, and social scientist. I’ve had various works published by international distributors for pay. I’ve formally studied and practiced making art since 1992.
